Hey everyone! With all of the talk going on about mental health and like topics going on right now - I thought I'd use today's post as an outlet. Firstly, I'm not quitting blogging or anything! I love it too much. That being said, sometimes I go through periods where I have zero inspiration or motivation. You can imagine how difficult this can be when I've committed myself to writing 5 posts a week! This only happens about 5% of the time and I can usually get it together.
Other times I'm so overwhelmed by my schedule that I don't even know where to begin. Between school, work and other commitments - it's definitely not easy to make sure every area of my life is at high performance. This can be incredibly draining and terrible for my mental health (which is already fairly fragile....maybe one day I'll talk about it). I'm still learning how to live a full and balanced life. I think I will constantly have to be learning because things are always changing. I'm currently reading a really great book on how to do all of that (which I will review once I have finished it) and so far it's a fantastic resource.
In short, just know that I value this blog and it's readers. I'll always try to have the best possible posts for you to read everyday, but sometimes that may not be the case - and I hope you can understand. I feel very blessed to have this forum and people who choose to listen! I also want you to take away that sometimes life can be hard - and that's okay. Allow yourself to feel and to heal. Ask for help and remember that above all else you are human.
