Green Smoothie Recipe

Now that the weather is a lot warmer, I've been experimenting with different smoothie recipes. Smoothies are really versatile and can be made as a meal, snack or even dessert. I usually make a green smoothie for breakfast, and it actually keeps me full while giving me enough energy to power though my mornings.

6 Tips for Tasty Green Smoothies - Katie at the Kitchen Door

  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind will do!) 
  • 2 cups stemmed and chopped kale or spinach
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pineapple (about 1/4 medium pineapple)
  • 1 ripe banana, chopped

Add coconut milk, ½ cup water,  kale, pineapple, and banana in a blender and puree until smooth. Add more water to reach desired consistency.
