5 Ways To Be Your Own Valentine

Today is Valentines Day and though I'm not in a relationship, I still love this day! I'm not really an affectionate person, so having a day that's all about love is a perfect excuse for me to show those around me that I care for them! I also think today is a great day for some #selfcare. After all, it's hard to love others if you don't love yourself first!

1. Treat yourself to a spa day. 
What better way to show some #selfcare than to pamper yourself? Whether you go to a professional or DIY, a simple face mask and mani/pedi is sure to make you feel great!

2. Cook a fancy dinner. 
If you're super busy like me, it may be hard to cook quality meals everyday. So tonight, clear your schedule and channel your inner Martha Stewart. 

LOVED IT....Was a big hit with the family.  The recipe didn't call for it, but I put mozzarella cheese on the top. This will definitely be on the monthly dinner rotation. ~ Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shells

3. Recommit to your goals. 
Did you make a bunch of new years resolutions? Have you kept them or have they fallen by the wayside? Take this time to revisit any goals you made and figure out if you need to do some tinkering

4. Watch your favourite movie.
A no brainer. Watching your favourite movie is a sure way to make you feel great!

5. Take a walk.
Sometimes we just need some fresh air. Ditch the devices and take a stroll in your favourite neighborhood. Smile at strangers. Enjoy your own company.


Single or not - just remember that today is all about love, so spread it!
