We’re getting closer to school starting up again it’s time to look at the accents for your room. Bedding is ever important – yet super confusing to buy. Some dorm room beds have a Twin XL sized bed, while others have a standard length (you may want to find out your bed dimensions prior to shopping for bedding).
Some additional tips I would offer are:
- Invest in memory foam for your bed. Chances are your dorm bed won’t be the most comfortable and your back will thank you!
- Also invest in a mattress topper, ‘cause…you know – germs.
- Thread count matters! Look for thread counts starting at 300!
Now that we’ve established some rules, let’s get started.
Flat sheets:
Jersey Knit Sheets – Bed Bath and Beyond
Cotton 400 TC sheets – Bed Bath and Beyond
Sets:

Colour Pop Set – PB Teen
Love the personalization!

Pink Chevron Set – Dormify
I’m a sucker for chevron!

Houndsthooth Fairy Set – Dormify
Can’t go wrong with a classic!
Delta Zeta Set – Decor 2 Ur Door
This set is (obviously) my favourite!
What kind of bedding do you prefer/ want to buy?

Wish I had a post like this to go by when I was buying my college bedding! I agree with all your tips: memory foam + a mattress topper are a MUST. The mattress in my dorms were ancient, and I didn't want to think of all the germs on them!

The mattress topper was the FIRST thing I bought for my bed...my school provided one, but I was better off with my own
DeleteThe bedding set looks amazing!
